my philosophy of photography
The natural world has always been a source of inspiration and contemplation to me, using my lens to capture the beauty and mystery of mountains, lakes, forests and other outdoor terrains. Yet, photography also raises fundamental philosophical questions about perception, representation, and reality. What is the nature of the relationship between the photograph and the landscape it depicts? How does the photograph mediate our experience of nature, filtering it through a particular perspective and sensibility? And what do these images reveal about our own relationship to the natural world and to ourselves as actors within it?
"The deeper you look into living nature, the more wonderfully you recognise it"
(Albert Hofmann)
